10 Common warning signs of a mental health condition

  • Feeling very sad or withdrawn for more than two weeks.
  • Extreme mood changes, including uncontrollable “highs” or feelings of euphoria.
  • Intense worries or fears that get in the way of daily activities.
  • Severe, out-of-control, risk-taking behavior that causes harm to self or to others.
  • Sudden overwhelming fear for no reason, sometimes with a racing heart, physical discomfort, or difficulty breathing.
  • Throwing up, using laxatives, or not eating to lose weight, having an intense fear of weight gain.
  • Seeing, hearing, or believing things that are not real.
  • Excessive use of alcohol or drugs.
  • Extreme difficulty concentrating or staying still, leading to physical danger or failing at school.
  • Drastic changes in mood, behavior, personality, or sleeping habits.

NAMI Family Support Group

NAMI Family Support Group is a peer-led support group for any adult with a loved one who has experienced symptoms of a mental health condition. Gain insight from the challenges and successes of others facing similar experiences.

Registration & RSVP is required to obtain a private zoom link for the group meeting. Limited 12 participants per group time slot. Complete the registration form below.

In-person Group Meetings

Every 2nd and 4th Monday of the month.
3:00 PM – 4:30 PM
Location: RSVP REQUIRED TO RECEIVE ADDRESS TO LOCATION.
